Outside Sales Representative

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team located in Watertown, SD. In this role, you will become a trusted partner to our customers and/or dealers, take ownership of revenue generation, develop new opportunities, manage pipelines, create and execute account strategies, close deals, and manage Pivotal Health Solutions’ expansion in existing customers. We'll need you to be able to demonstrate success in articulating the benefits and differentiation of our product lines, thinking strategically about driving complex sales processes, and growing revenue inside existing accounts.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Establish and develop a strategy for identifying and closing new sales opportunities outbound directly with targeted key accounts across multiple industry verticals
  • Develop and grow existing and new distributors
  • Travel, (drive company van and/or fly) to seminars and trade shows to promote and sell products along with completing training for customers and or dealers when possible
  • Work closely on middle to bottom of funnel sales leads and opportunities along with closing well nurtured leads
  • Help develop and carry out demand generation campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation
  • Manage complex sales-cycles
  • Confer with customers and company service / quality to resolve complaints
  • Manage all sales activity including monthly forecasting of revenue
  • Input on new product development and working within the organization and product management to maintain product information and accuracy
  • Competitor analysis, working to stay one step ahead of the competition in the market place
  • Provide feedback from in the field on what is currently happening and provide suggestion on how to stay one step ahead
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2-5 years experience in sales
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field of study
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and tools (Salesforce.com, Hubspot, etc.)
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work and learn independently
