Standard 90 Days Support with Dr. Bryan Hawley with purchase of DOC table.
Most clinicians in today's healthcare are faced with all sorts of challenges. Some of the worse ones are attracting new patients and being able to provide a service to help them.
By adding the DOC Decompression table, by Pivotal Health Solutions, to your practice you are opening the door to helping a broader spectrum of patients and providing a cost effective means of possibly helping them.
It is well known and documented that over 80% of the population will experience back pain at some point in their lives.
The DOC Decompression table can provide the means for you to see and help a vast majority of these patients.
Standard DOC Features

The DOC list of standard features is impressive:
• Digital (DOC) Command Center which includes:
- Specific Vertebral Targeting
- Separate lumbar and cervical decompression programming
- Continuous readout and graphing of treatment parameters
- Interactive color display
• Pre-Programmed lumbar and cervical decompression protocols
• Customizable treatment protocols
• Traction Belting System - Can enhance restraint for optimal decompression. This helps the body create greater internal disc pressure which aids in the reduction of spinal problems.
• Built-in safety features
• User-defined treatment hold and relax times
• Real-time digital treatment tracking
• Table elevation
• Reference library - including patient setup and training materials
• Comprehensive Marketing package for a minimal 12 month fee.
Axial Rotation and Lateral Flexion
Axial Rotation and Lateral Flexion can be done simply with the press of a button and manipulation of the guide bar at the rear of the pelvic section. The doctor or practitioner can move the flexing section to its proper position such as lateral flexion or axial rotation. This is unlike other units that have a direct and straight pull only. In addition, this system comes with auto flexion capabilities.

Decompression and Scoliosis
Usually at my seminars or other venues I always get asked will decompression therapy help patients with scoliosis.
My answer is always a political “yes”, “no”, “maybe”. Usually leaving the poor doctor befuddled until I explain in more detail.
When patients present to our clinic with a scoliosis (defined as a lateral curve 10 deg or more) and this has caused one of their discs to degenerate due to the unnatural biomechanical forces placed on the spine we usually treat the disc pathology first, especially if the involved disc is at the apex of the curve and or is really symptomatic. Once the patient is gaining a “close to” normal ROM in the involved area without an increase pain then that is our que to start working on the scoliosis.
We normally observe symptomatic changes within the first 6-8 visits and start to see real gains in pain reduction and increase in ROM around 10-12th visits. Then we usually start working with the mirror image protocol while decompressing. With our particular brand of decompression table we can actually flex, extend, lat bend, and axial rotate so as to allow us to mirror the scoliosis. After decompression we then have the patient work with head, hip, shoulder weights as well as vibrational therapy.
We have found that isometric exercises work best for this type of combo care, as well as mirror image stretching post exercise. We have also observed that the muscles on the convex side of the curve respond better to higher vibration frequencies and lower frequencies on the convex side. We usually apply this (vibration via instrumentation) prior to exercises and stretches.
So to answer the question yes decompression will help with scoliosis patients “if” they have a combo disc pathology along with the scoliosis. Otherwise we treat our Scoliosis patients separately than our decompression patients. The great thing is both categories will become chiropractic patients for life.
Till next time;

I was originally trained as a Chiropractor in the truest sense, but as fate would have it I expanded my focus into a more specific area of healthcare. Today I function as a Chiropractor who deals exclusively with disc pathology. My patient base consists of patients who have had failed back surgery, multiple injections, endless physical therapy, and ongoing narcotics.
My practice, Triangle Disc Care, treats exclusively acute and chronic disc pathology, nothing more, nothing less. We consider ourselves to be the best in the field at what we do, and our patients count on us to deliver results. That is why after looking at all other decompression tables we have chosen the DOC decompression table by Pivotal Health Solutions. Not only can we treat our patients supine or prone but also from various angles such as flexion, extension, lateral side bending, and even axial rotation! If you want to get serious about treating disc pathology you need this table. Your patients deserve the best!
